Motive: Pentru ca as vrea sa fiu si eu in locul alora din barca (ar trebui sa-mi fac o trupa de rock ) )… mai ales in locul chitaristului. Dar sa trecem de dream thing si sa vorbim despre melodie. Dupa cum zice si titlul, mi se ureaza o zi placuta. De cand m-am trezit si am vazut sunny day outside (de fapt de cateva luni numa sunny day a fost), mi-am zis: “I want to have a great day!”. Si great day este! Sper sa ramana asa pana la sfarsit. Dupa cum v-am obisnuit pana acum am sa va mai dau un link cu o alta melodie de la Stereophonics…“Dakota” . Asta este melodia prin care am auzit de Stereophonics si de la care am inceput sa mai ascult din cand in cand melodiile lor. Nu stiu exact unde sa o categorizez dar o pun la rock desi nu e tipul de rock care a fost postat pana acum. Cam atat pentru dimineata asta, poate am sa mai postez diseara daca nu maine. Ce, cum, unde: Ok, deci sunt intr-un net cafe de tot rahatul (turcesc sa fie el…) si ma chinui sa ignor tipu’ de la masa alaturata ca se benocleaza fix si insistent la mine si muzica absolut mirobolanta care sa aude la cativa pasi (ceva cu iabibibibibibibibibibibibibibib… bibicule). Hmmm….sa imi zic si io parerea despre cantec… Versurile sunt, sa zicem, pozitive, care (zic eu) iti dau ‘putere’ sa continui… Legat sunet, pot spune ca suna superb. Song: Haggard – Herr Mannelig

Motive: Pai a fost o perioada in viata mea cand ascultam si eu rock mai hard. Si asta e singura melodie care inca o mai ascult dupa perioada aia. Pentru ca nu e asa hard, nu e nici metal si nici hardcore. E un stil medieval si e mai soft. Desi eu o ascultam pentru melodie atunci, acum am descoperit ce ziceau solistii in melodie. Este un fel de love story intre 2 fiinte care nu pot fi impreuna… un fel de balada (imi plac baladele). Am mai aflat ca e o melodie traditionala din Suedia (and I love Sweden too ) pe care au preluat-o cei de la Haggard si i-au dat un stil mai rock. Nu au video la melodie asa ca am luat ce am gasit pe youtube mai interesant cu melodia pe fundal. Sper sa va placa!

Motiv: “Cemetery Gates” is a seven minute song by heavy metal band Pantera. The song is the fifth track from Cowboys from Hell, the band’s second album with lead singer Phil Anselmo. “Cemetery Gates” showcases Anselmo’s vocal ability and range, concluding with falsetto notes answered by Dimebag Darrell on guitar.

“Cemetery Gates” received a large amount of air-play by rock stations, and has become one of Pantera’s most popular songs.

A shorter version of “Cemetery Gates”, without its acoustic beginning, was released into a music video. A shortened, five minute and forty-seven second version without the conclusion was included on the soundtrack of the 1995 film Tales from the Crypt Presents Demon Knight. Pantera’s live album, Official Live: 101 Proof, includes a six and a half minute rendition of the song.

After Dimebag’s death, the song was performed by Dream Theater as a tribute during Gigantour. The band was joined on stage by Russell Allen of Symphony X for the first verse, Burton C. Bell of Fear Factory for the second verse and Dave Mustaine of Megadeth for the ending solo.
